2023 was the year of rain and wind but it didn't stop Katie & Ricky from having the most incredible wedding at the bride's childhood home in Orleans, Cape Cod. It was a pleasure to guide these two through their wedding planning journey and execute a truly special day for them. We had to pivot a lot that week and almost plan an entirely different wedding because of the weather, but through it all Katie & Ricky stayed cool and always had a big smile on their faces. Their ceremony took place at a church in the bride's hometown where other members of her family also had been married. A stunning and lush ground floral arch surrounded the two when they said their I do's. When guests arrived at the reception they were warmly welcomed by signature cocktails, a raw bar and lovely live music. While it was wet and dreary out the illuminated tent was adorned with bright and cheerful flowers, ceramic blue and white vases, colorful menus, and warm rattan lanterns and greenery hung from the sailcloth tent. If there was one thing this group knew what to do it was PARTY! They danced and ate the night away with local pizza and homemade cookies. The evening was filled with so much love and laughter, and it was simply amazing to see their families and friends come together to support them.
